Job Title: Lead Business Analyst
This is an urgent requirement for a Lead Business Analyst with experience working within a solution delivery environment. Our client is well-established organisation leading the market in its field and is currently embarking on an exciting Agile Transformation programme. The Business Analysis team is being expanded with the analysis framework and standards being defined and shaped.
Business Analyst Role and Duties:
– Lead and motivate a team of Business Analysts within an Agile environment
– Maintain and take ownership of best practice relating to business analysis process, tools and ways of working
– Drive strategic thinking within the business analysis team
– Work with key stakeholders across to understand business and technical needs, gather requirements and perform process analysis and design
– Deliver input to support project pipeline prioritisation through people, process and project thinking
Business Analyst Skills and Experience:
– Substantial experience in a Lead Business Analyst role using both Agile and Waterfall tools and techniques
– Demonstrable expertise in leading analysis across multiple project types
– In-depth experience of managing teams of Business Analysts, building capability and skills and developing best practice
– Detailed knowledge of how to support strategic planning, understand complexity of change and provide resource allocation, planning and prioritisation
– Experience of leading discovery or initial requirements gathering for large, complex, inter-related initiatives
Experience of using modern software delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello etc would be ideal but is not essential. This is a role wherein you will work across Project, Product and Delivery teams so the ability to embrace transformational challenge would be ideal.
