Data Architect – Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Power BI, MS Powerview, Data Modelling, Data Mapping, Data Integration, Master Data Management – Hybrid (Warrington) – to £81k + excellent bonus + excellent bens

 

A Data Architect is urgently required to play a key role in the design, build and implementation of new Data, BI and Analytics platforms. The role is a key appointment and viewed as transformational for this highly-successful services provider with an enviable customer base and an impressive portfolio of products

 

Data Architect Role and Responsibilities:

– Work collaboratively across the business to support project and delivery teams with expertise on data architecture, data quality and data/ design governance/ assurance       

– Lead the design and implementation plan for the build of data, BI and analytics platforms

– Assume full responsibility for logical and conceptual modelling across a range of data-centric solutions

– Take charge of the implementation / automation of common reports across the business

– Lead the organisation through the adoption and implementation of self-service initiatives to enable data-led business decisions

 

Data Architect Skills and Experience:

– Substantial experience in data modelling of business level definition through to physical definition and implementation for BI & Analytics platforms

– Detailed expertise in the design and implementation of large, complex data integration migration projects

– Strong knowledge of the Azure data toolset and of modern database, BI, data analytics and data integration technologies

– Experience of API design and security and high-level infrastructure/ hosting needs

– Knowledge of Azure SQL, Azure Synapse and Power BI would be ideal

 

My client’s product suite comprises a series of heavily data-centric solutions and the aim of the business is to employ self-service and AI as the foundation of a series of data-led business decisions. Any experience of working with or implementing self-service or AI products would be ideal.
