Job Title: Business Analyst

This is an urgent requirement for an Agile Business Analyst with experience working within a solution delivery environment. Our client is well-established organisation leading the market in its field and is currently embarking on an exciting Agile Transformation programme. The Business Analysis team is being expanded with the analysis framework and standards being defined and shaped.
Business Analyst Role and Duties:
– Orchestrate collaboration in a multi-functional Agile team to remove roadblocks and build relationships
– Elicit, gather, analyse, interpret and document business requirements using Agile methods and the full range of Agile ceremonies
– Maintain and develop best practice related to processes, tools and ways of working to improve efficiencies
– Work closely with other BA’s and a Lead BA to provide a technical solution to a business problem
– Develop a strong understanding of products and solutions focussing on business outcomes
Business Analyst Skills and Experience:
– Substantial experience in a Business Analyst role using both Agile and Waterfall tools and techniques
– Detailed knowledge of the interdependencies between related, large, complex IT projects
– In-depth experience of providing a technical solution to a business problem within a highly-transactional, data-centric environment
– Strong knowledge of Agile ceremonies and techniques including sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, sprint retrospective, user stories, rich pictures, story-mapping sessions etc
– Excellent communication skills and experience of stakeholder management and conflict resolution
Experience of using modern software delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello etc would be ideal but is not essential. This is a role wherein you will work across Project, Product and Delivery teams so the ability to embrace transformational challenge would be ideal.
